Revenge Forestry

For this Oregon Business feature about my evergreen state’s ongoing timber wars, I clocked 460 miles on my odometer, touring clear-cuts with an environmentalist in Southern Oregon’s hotly contested Elliott State Forest and chatting with a colorful timber executive in her taxidermied Eugene office. It was fascinating to report on such polarized world-views.
